The Lines We Cross sind eine Hardcoreband aus Leipzig und der Bandname ist irgendwie Programm. Wird man heutzutage ja oft von Proletenkombos angegrunzt, die eher nen Wettbewerb im Böhser Onkel spielen, denn im gute Musik machen, sind die Jungs mir auf jeden Fall sympatischer. Das 2010er Album, welches übrigens mittels beiligendem Donwloadcode dieser EP for free runtergeladen werden kann, lies schon gutes erhoffen.

In den vorliegenden 4 Songs ist eines eindeutig, die Band hat ihre Wurzeln im Punk, und biedert sich nicht an irgendwelche obercoolen Toughguyspacken an. Hochgeschwindigkeitshardcore, immer wieder durchbrochen von Breakdowns,Shouts und melodischem Gesang lassen die EP wie im Fluge vorbeigehen.
Die Lyrics  sind durchweg ziemlich düster gehalten und handeln davon, was im Leben alles so schief gehn kann....kein Wunder das soviel Elan in der Scheibe liegt.

Erhältlich ist dieses kleine Schätzchen über das Label Steeltown Records in einer limitierten 500er Auflage, inklusive Textblatt Patch, sowie Downloadcode fürs Debütalbum. Kaufempfehlung!!!

After their last release on Randale Records, which was not the best in my opinion, The Warriors around Saxby got back to the good times. 13 new + 3 old songs full of great singalonghymns for the working class.

The Album starts with the smasher"England", which is one of the best patriotism songs i ever heard. "Budget Day Debate" is a great statement for the brutal injustice which hits the hardworkin and poor people by the government...fuck the politicians. "Pay to Play" takes up a theme which is really shit. Bands have to pay money for a location to play a gig and at that they get pranked. Higher and more Taxes,Mortgages and all the other financial disgrace, controlled by the government and bankers come together in the song "Bankrupt Britain".

I could write hours and hours about every song on this album, but i think you should just buy it and enjoy this one. Never Forgive, Never Forget is in my Top 5 Albums of the year and the year ends very soon hehe. Hope Mister Saxby and his bandmembers will come to germany soon to hear them live.
