Jaja Dortmund, Heimat des amtierenden deutschen Meisters, Kohle und Stahl, Dortmunder Union. Für mich ehrlichgesagt seit jeher ne Stadt, der ich nix abgewinnen kann. Und nun kommt da sone 3er Bande namens Dörpms(Plattdeutsch für Dortmund) um die Ecke und will das ändern??? Tze......

Was erwartet einen also auf dem 13 Song umfassenden Debütalbum? Ruhrpott-Oi mit Charme und Witz, nahe am Leben mit allen Höhen und Tiefen. Songs übers Tättowieren, das gute Pils  und den Fussball lassen keine Fragen offen, die Jungs wissen was gut ist. Ernstere Themen werden selten angesprochen, wie zb. im Song"Totale Überwachung" ,denn die Staatsmacht macht was sie will und tritt unsere Freiheit mit Füssen. "Stadionromantik" ist einer der geilsten Fussballsongs, die ich bis jetzt gehört habe, auch wenn der BVB ein Verein ist, den ich mit Leidenschaft verachte hehe."Pils`n`Export Oi"  also um die Frage mal zu beantworten, ich trink im Grunde nur Pils, als Norddeutscher kommt man da auch nich dran vorbei. Hatte aber durchaus schon das ein oder andere Dortmunder Union Export am Hals, kann man durchaus auch mal. So genug vom Bier, mehr Fussball bitte es geht nämlich "Auswärts". Um mal zu zitieren"Pedro mach den Bus klar,fahr mich hin wo ich noch nie war. Nach Cottbus,Liverpool,Lissabon, das ist der Auswährtsfahrtensong".

Jap die Scheibe kann was....ne ganze Menge sogar....ne weitere Runde im CD-Fach drehen zum Beispiel. Ne mal Butter bei de Fische, Dörpms ham hier aus dem Stand ein wirklich klasse Oi-Punk Album fabriziert, das Geschmack auf mehr macht. An der Produktion kann vll noch ein bischen gefeilt werden, ansonsten kann ich aber nichts finden was mir nicht gefällt. Als Digipack Version ist die CD auf Sunny Bastards erschienen.

Indonesia is a country with a lot of punk and skinbands, and here´s the Best Of CD by the longest running Oi Band "No Man's Land". Formed1994 in Malang, they are one of the pioneers in the indonesian skinhead scene. For this album the band re-recorded 28 of their favorite tracks  and sent them to europe where they got mixed and mastered.

Iam really hooked by this band. The instruments are powerfull, the singer is an animal and the lyrics are hard and aggressive. I have to point out my favorite tracks, "No Way Out" is a song about the life, and all the arising problems of it. "Voice Of The Youth" is a song about standing strong and together on the streets no matter who you are.Don´t know much about football in Indonesia, but the song "Politics In Our Football" is a great statement against the political interference on the stadium grounds around the world. Just football,no politics!!! "Brother Wake Up" is a song about a good friend who died in hospital after a long time. Very sad, but also wonderful, that he had so many great friends who care for him until the end.

Indonesian Oi sounds very exotic, but when you hear this album, you have to change your mind. No Man's Land is a band i am addicted to and you will have the same problem after buying the CD. The digi-pack release came out on Aggro-Beat from the netherlands on october 10th.
