A1 Maraboots (feat. Jenny Woo) - Jamais
A2 Larcin - Mauvaise Habitude
B1 Lion's Law - Lionheart
B2 The Fanatiques - No Turning Back
Hell yes, another great release from UVPR. Here we got 3 brandnew and 1 already known band from france on a Split EP.
Let´s start with the Maraboots, maybe the best band from france in the last 5 or 10 years. "Jamais" featuring Jenny"Guetta" Woo, who sings the english lyrics in this one, is absolutely stunning. Hope to hear more in 2013 guys.
Larcin recorded a demo in 2011 but their song "Mauvaise Habitude" is the first song on an official release. Very simple tune, nothing special but you can hear the potential.
The B-Side starts with an All-Star band named Lion´s Law. Ex-Members of Komintern Sect, Maraboots and others came together this year and i hope "Lionheart" is just an appetizer for the next year.
Last but not least we got The Fanatiques, with their song "No Turning Back", which remembers me off other new Modbands like The Movement, Penny Cocks and so on.
Like i said, UVPR is a hitproducer. This Split should decorate every good sorted vinyl-collection. Vive La France!
