Directly from Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania in your face ladys and gentleman, i introduce to you the Iron City Hooligans. No Holds Barred with a mixture of Oi and HC like Stars & Stripes, Iron Cross and other great bands from the states.

Of course this release doesn´t reinvent the wheel of oi, but it´s a good one. The lyrics are full of typical skinheadstuff, like violence, patriotism, working class, havin fun with your friends and so on. So far so good, but i really got a problem with this army shit. Unfortunately this guys got some textpassages, i cannot understand, but maybe it´s typical for american oi bands to stick together with the troops. Despite that, the Hooligans deserve some closer attention although i don´t sympathize with some of their views. The sound is really nice and you can feel the passion the guys put into their first album.

The Iron City Hooligans put out a good first release, except for the lyrical weaknesses in their pro-troop songs. It came out on Rebellion Records.
